Hi everyone! I thought I should give my reasonings for starting to study Japanese. My mother is Japanese and technically I am Japanese for a few more years. However, since I have lived in English-speaking countries all my life, my Japanese has lagged behind considerably and I decided to do something about it. Over the last four weeks, I have found ironing out all my habitual errors quite tricky; indeed, old habits die hard. Nevertheless, I am very excited to finally be able to write to and talk to my family in Japan properly.
